Twin-Screw Elements

Segmented elements let you rebuild a compounding screw section by section instead of replacing the whole thing. We machine conveying, kneading and mixing elements in wear-resistant alloys, to your bore size and spline.

Commonly supplied for co-rotating compounders; we can match an existing configuration from a drawing or a sample element.

Common Questions

Questions Buyers Ask About This Product

Can you copy an element from a sample?

Yes — send one worn element and we measure and reproduce it. A drawing is better if you have one.

Which alloy for my compound?

Tell us the filler and abrasiveness. Glass-filled and mineral-filled compounds need harder alloys than unfilled ones.

Do you supply full screw configurations?

Yes — we can supply a complete assembled configuration or individual elements to rebuild part of one.
