Twin screws are supplied as a matched pair — we profile, hardface and match-mark them so both sides plasticise identically. Uneven pairs are the usual cause of fluctuating output and one-side wear.

We recommend it. Replacing one screw of a pair leaves you with different wear levels on each side, which shows up as output fluctuation.
